PARLIAMENT MORCHA – A MASSIVE SUCCESS-CIRCULAR NO. 26/85/2011/2 :

CIRCULAR NO. 26/85/2011/2                                                          28th February, 2011
TO ALL UNITS & MEMBERS
Dear Comrades,
- Glory to our Trade Union movement

- Glory to Indian working class

- Glory to AIBEA

- Glory to all of you
23rd February, 2011 will go into the red lettered history of the Indian Trade Union movement for the unprecedented and united protest by the working class of India against the anti-people, anti-labour economic reforms that have resulted in large-scale miseries and aggravated attacks on the living conditions of the workers and masses of people.  It was a rally of workers that had not been witnessed so far.  It was a rally of workers to condemn the economic policies of the Government.  Lacs and lacs of workers marching in the streets of Delhi towards the Parliament was a grand spectacle by itself.
The rally manifested the new unity of the workers, the growing unity amongst the trade unions, the new enthusiasm to fight, the new conviction to hit back, the new realization for moving together, the new hope that workers can resist and repulse, the new signal to the Government of the militant mood of the workers, the new capabilities of the trade unions to mobilize, the new potentialities of the broader united struggles.  It has boosted the morale of the workers.  It has boosted the morale of the trade unions.  The rally proved that workers will rise to the occasion to defend their class interests.
For us in AIBEA, it was a glorious day too.  Bank employees under the banner of AIBEA have proved again that they are an integral and inseparable part of the general working class.  The massive participation of bank employees revealed their capacity to shed their typical middle-class mindedness and move along with working class orientation.  It showed their ability to overcome the usual vacillations and limitations prevalent amongst the better paid white-collared employees.  The intrinsic tradition of AIBEA cadres was in full display once again.
All our State Federations and Unions had done their best in mobilizing our members for this important programme.   In addition to our usual battalions from nearly places of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan, there was good mobilisation from Uttar Pradesh, Vidharba, Uttaranchal, Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, etc.  Comrades had come in good number from far States like West Bengal, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, etc.  Tamilnadu had mobilized large number of participants including from the Co-operative Banks. Even from small States like Goa, Assam, Tripura, Pondichery, etc. there were participants.  AIBEA is proud of our units.  AIBEA is very proud of our members.
Red Salutes to all of you, dear Comrades.

You have added to the glory of AIBEA.

You have added another golden page in the militant history of AIBEA.

Congratulations and thanks for your militant participation.

Keep it up dear soldiers of AIBEA.
With greetings,
Yours Comradely
