PARLIAMENT MORCHA ON 23RD FEBRUARY, 2011:

Gist of AIBEA CIRCULAR LETTER NO. 26/107 /2011/1 dated 5th  January, 2011 :

PARLIAMENT MORCHA ON 23RD FEBRUARY, 2011

MOBILISATION :-

We are sure that all our Unions – State Federations, All India Bankwise Federations, base unions, our unions from RRBs, Co-operative Banks and Deposit Collectors – are in the process of ensuring maximum mobilisation of our members in the Parliament Morcha on 23-2-2011.  All out steps should be taken and efforts should be intensified to fulfill the quota undertaken in the last Central Committee meeting.

As per the reports received so far from some States like Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Haryana, Tamilnadu, etc, the response is enthusiastic and the quota is being exceeded.  In States like Punjab and Uttar Pradesh steps are being taken to moblise our members in large number. We are sure that all other States would also catch up and do their job effectively.

CAMPAIGN :

The next 6 weeks should be utilised to hold as many meetings as possible at all levels of our organisation to campaign amongst our membership on the issues involved.

STRIKE :-

Besides mobilizing our members for the Parliament Morcha, we should prepare our members for All India Strike to be decided by AIBEA after the Morcha. The strike call will be preponed if the Government will go ahead with their policy to issue Banking licences to industrial houses.

PARLIAMENT MORCHA :-

  • Morcha towards Parliament will be taken from different locations / spots
  • Bank Employees’ procession  will start from Samata Sthal ie near Rajghat.  All our units should ensure that the participants reach this venue before 10.00 A.M. on 23.2.2011.  Procession will begin at 11.00 A.M.
  • After 10.00 A.M. there would be traffic jams in various places due to the processions at various spots.  Hence we must ensure that our comrades reach before 10.00 A.M
  • Neighbouring States should plan in such a way that their buses reach the venue well in time as otherwise they may be held up on the way
  • Accommodation is being arranged for outstation participants.  All State Federations should immediately indicate the number of participants to AIBEA / DSBEF  to make  necessary stay arrangements. THIS IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT
  • Upcountry contingents reaching Delhi by train should reach on 22nd latest by evening as trains may be delayed on 23rd morning.
  • Our units should come with their banners and flags.
  • Placards will be prepared and supplied to participants by DSBEF.
  • Badges will be supplied to participants by DSBEF.
SURPASS THE PAST – CREATE NEW HISTORY :-

In the past, on every occasion, our units have moved massively. Our units have been in the forefront of the programmes.  This time too, let us mobilize our members massively.  Let us surpass the past records. Let us create new history.

There is all-out attack from the Government.  There should be all-out response from our Unions.

MAKE THE MORCHA TO PARLIAMENT A MASSIVE SUCCESS.
